Moya's work is inspired by the natural world, which she captures through both hand building and throwing. Living in rural countryside, she finds beauty in the imperfections of nature, seeking out wrinkles and blemishes that give character and soul to the world around us. Her "Seasons" bowls bring movement and life to wheel-thrown pottery by breaking the perfection normally expected of the process.
Moya's Summer bowl is a celebration of the captivating seascape of the Isles of Scilly, where she has been a regular visitor for over 30 years, featuring turquoise water, white sand, and golden sunshine.
